Resident Programs

Resident Programs

Programs that help residents stay, stabilize, and belong.

ECHO is more than a place to find an affordable home. Our programs are designed to help residents stay housed, feel connected, and get support before small problems become bigger crises.

We focus on practical support: housing stability, food access, wellness, community connection, mediation, and referrals to trusted care providers.

When programs are available at partner properties, ECHO helps turn housing into a stronger foundation for long-term stability.

A home should be more than a unit. It should be a place where people can build stability, health, and community.
Our Program Model

Three ways ECHO supports residents.

Each program is designed to meet a different resident need while supporting the larger goal of housing stability.

01
STAY · Housing Stability

STAY

STAY helps residents remain housed through early support, housing plans, mediation, referrals, and help with issues that may put housing at risk.

02
ROOTS · Food & Community

ROOTS

ROOTS supports food access, urban gardens, wellness activities, and community connection at properties where shared space is available.

03
BRIDGE · Calm Response

BRIDGE

BRIDGE provides calm, non-law-enforcement support for resident concerns, wellness checks, de-escalation, and connection to services.

How Programs Work

Support is based on the needs of each property.

Not every property receives every program in the same way. ECHO works with property partners, residents, and community providers to match support to the needs of the building.

Listen

We learn what residents and property teams need before creating a support plan.

Plan

We identify which programs, referrals, events, or supports may help the property most.

Support

We provide direct support, referrals, check-ins, workshops, or community activities.

Follow Up

We track needs, adjust support, and continue helping residents stay housed and connected.

STAY Program

Support that keeps people housed.

STAY focuses on housing retention, resident support, mediation, and practical help before housing is at risk.

Purpose

STAY helps residents address issues that can affect housing stability. This may include unpaid rent, lease concerns, neighbor conflict, isolation, behavior concerns, or trouble connecting to services.

BRIDGE Program

Multidisciplinary Support

Important Note

ECHO programs are support services, not emergency services.

ECHO programs are designed for housing stability, wellness, referrals, mediation, and community support. They are not a replacement for 911, emergency medical care, crisis response, law enforcement, or urgent mental health services.

If there is immediate danger, a medical emergency, or a life-threatening situation, residents should call 911 or the appropriate emergency service right away.

Why It Matters

Housing works better when support is close by.

When STAY, ROOTS, and BRIDGE can be used at partner properties, residents have access to support that can reduce isolation, prevent crises, strengthen community, and protect long-term housing stability.

Earlier Intervention

Small concerns can be addressed before they become lease violations, conflicts, or emergencies.

Better Referrals

Residents can be connected to legal aid, health care, food resources, benefits, and social services.

Stronger Community

Programs help residents connect, participate, and feel rooted in the property.

Housing Stability

Supportive services help residents stay housed and help properties operate with more care and consistency.

For Residents and Partners

Supportive housing starts with connection.

ECHO’s programs are designed to meet residents where they are and help properties become places where people can stay, stabilize, and belong.
